Terms of service

The App Finder generates app ideas and a build-ready blueprint from the answers you give us. The first idea is free. The full blueprint is a one-time purchase of $27. It’s delivered on screen immediately. If the paid output reads like a template rather than something built from your numbers, tell us and we’ll refund you in full.

The App Finder (appideafinder.com) is operated by Chris Ashby (Build Great Products). Contact: chris@telescope.design. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to these terms.

• You must be 18 or over and give us accurate information.
• Keep your password to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. Don’t share, sell, or automate access to the service.

The free tier shows your top-ranked idea with its scorecard and a first-screen mock. The paid blueprint unlocks all three ideas in full — pricing, the maths to $10K, product offer, customer persona, and blueprint documents — plus the kickoff prompt that sets up your project. The unlock applies to your account, so future runs are unlocked too.

Members of the AI App Builders community may get the blueprint free, either automatically by signing in with their community email or by using the discount code posted in the community. Member benefits can change; they’re a gift, not a term of sale.

• The blueprint costs $27, paid once, through Stripe. No subscription, nothing recurring.
• It’s a digital product delivered immediately, so you agree that delivery starts as soon as you pay and that any statutory cooling-off period ends once the content is unlocked.
• Our guarantee is simpler than that: if the paid output reads like a template rather than something built from your numbers, email us within 14 days of purchase and we’ll refund you in full, no questions asked.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method. A refunded purchase re-locks the blueprint.

Ideas, scores, pricing, revenue maths, and blueprint documents are generated by AI from the information you provide. They are starting points for your own judgement, not business, financial, or legal advice, and we don’t guarantee any idea will succeed, earn any particular amount, or be free of errors. Check facts and figures before you act on them.

• Your answers are yours. You give us permission to process them to run the service.
• The output we generate for you is yours to use however you like, including commercially. We may keep anonymised examples to improve the service.
• The App Finder’s software, design, prompts, and brand remain ours. ProductOS is open source under its own licence.

Don’t use the service to break the law, to reverse-engineer or scrape it, to overload it, or to generate content for someone else’s business at scale as a reselling service. We can suspend accounts that do.

We provide the service as-is and do our best to keep it running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version and material changes will be announced by email. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
